Each year, the Court receives about 60,000 applications. Most applications never reach the judges. The Court’s Registry and its so-called Filtering Section declare most cases as “not disclosing any appearance of a violation.” The Registry’s staff prepare an unreasoned decision in this respect, which a single judge, trusting the Registry’s lawyers, signs on behalf of the Court without ever seeing the application. The Registry allows only a small portion of applications to advance to the next phase.
Many applicants believe that their should-be-admissible application was declared inadmissible and it should not have been rejected in the early stages of the proceedings. We offer applicants and attorneys to share applications. We also offer organizations and others who submitted third party interventions to share them here. Let an expert review your application
For a fee of 4990 Euros, a lawyer who is a former ECHR employee, will analyse your application. Within 20 days, this ECHR specialist will deliver a written expert opinion on whether your application is complete, probably admissible or inadmissible, and what are your chances of success at the Court. You may submit your application for an expert review if you have or have not yet submit it to the ECtHR. You may opt to have your application publicly shared in our database or not. You will receive suggestions on how you may improve your application. Currently we only offer this service for applications in English or French language or if you provide us with an English or French translation of your application.
